How can I look less "foreign" and more presentable in US society?

If this is really important to you, try to dress like everyone else and act very confident even if you are not. People will get used to you and stop staring and asking you questions and stuff. Just give it some time and things will work out. There is nothing wrong with the way you look. Just try to learn some east coast culture/traditions/way of life and you will be fine.
