If you go 18x and fail, you end up 11B, so if you don't prefer that MOS, do not go 18X, as only one percent of all 18X recruits actually make it. I would personally go OCS, it is your best option from career. As for your surgery, I had my right leg rebuilt entirely. I broke my tibia, fibula, ankle, foot, and snapped my achilles off at the heel. I cleared MEPS. You should not have any issue if your arm is able to rotate and bare weight(like in push up position)
