Is it possible to take a behind the wheel test on a salvaged car?

because I'm going to take my behind the wheel test tomorrow, and last time i took it i used my aunts car because my mom said i cant drive my car because it said its salvaged on the registration papers and they don't allow those. is it true? or can i just take it on my car?
