Should trigrams be arranged in any particular order around the taijitu (or yin-yang symbol) and why?

I've seen them arranged slightly differently in various depictions and was wondering if there should be any specific order to them. Would it be possible to let me know starting from the top and moving around the 8 trigrams clockwise?
