In the show Firefly, who is the criminal the crew tries to deliver the goods to in the first episode?

What I mean, is that I want to know the actor who plays the British criminal around the 20 minute mark of the first episode of Firefly. The crew is delivering the loot they salvaged. I can't seem to think of who the actor is!
