Does the Bible say ANYTHING about the time required for the creation of Adam? Instantaneous? Gradual? Longer?
All I see is "And God formed the man (H'ADAM) from the dust of the ground". No mention of the time required. No mention of the processes involved (whether a single process or many intermediate processes, or even millions of years of evolution). It simply says WHO did the creating (God), WHAT was created (the man) and the WHAT of the fundamental ingredients (dust/soil/earth). So why do many assume that it was instantaneous or perhaps taking a few seconds (if Hollywood movie depictions of Adam's creation are representative of most creation traditions)?
