How do I save my cake from Overflowed filling?

Coat the outer layer with a different frosting. Sounds like a mix of Cool Whip & Cream Cheese will be heavy enough to "seal" that filling in. I'd do a thin coating of it, refrigerate it until firm as it'll get then do a final layer and keep the cake in the fridge until serving time. Good luck:)
